Lessons Learned in 2007

1. Never let your husband perform bathroom surgery on you. Ever.
2. There is no such thing as a quick or easy home improvement project.
3. Never drill a hole in the top of a defective 5 gallon bottle of water.
4. It takes 2 college-educated men to figure out how to thread the needle of a sewing machine.
5. Nine months of pregnancy may be miserable, but it's all worth it the second you hold that little bundle of joy.
6. Having a career is overrated.

Bathroom surgery is a lovely term coined by my podiatrist. It involves Bryan attempting to remove an ingrown toenail (in this case on 2 separate occasions) with tools including foreceps and an x-acto knife. Nice, huh? You'd think I'd be smarter than that, but nooo...
